Nya Jordan named GWBA Player of the Week

Chicago, IL- July 27, 2018- Nya Jordan of the Flint Monarchs was named the GWBA’s Player of the Week, for games played July 21-July 27. Jordan registered 18 points and 3 rebounds while playing limited minutes to help the Monarchs secure a 99-62 victory at home.

Jordan was selected Player of the Week for the first time in her career and has helped the Flint Monarchs off to a league best 6-1 record.

The Detroit native and former University of Michigan player averages 8.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game for the season.

Other candidates for the GWBA Player of the Week were the Flint Monarchs Jasmine McCall.
